A family-run feed unit in Vadipatti district turning sorted food surplus into affordable, dependable nutrition for India's dairy farmers.
Our story
AM Traders began as a small grain and bran trading counter serving nearby dairy farmers. Watching bakeries and hotels discard tonnes of edible surplus every week — while farmers struggled with rising feed costs — gave the business its purpose.
Today, Annai Cattle Feeds collects that surplus, sorts and dries it, blends it with maize, oil cake, bran and a mineral premix, and returns it to the same neighbourhoods as balanced cattle feed at wholesale rates.

How feed is made
- CollectionSurplus picked up from bakeries, hotels, mills and godowns on fixed routes.
- SortingPackaging, plastics and spoiled material removed by hand; only edible surplus moves ahead.
- Drying & millingMoisture reduced to safe levels, then milled to a uniform particle size.
- BlendingMixed with maize, oil cake, bran, molasses and mineral premix to the target ration.
- Quality checkProtein, fibre and moisture verified before bagging.
- Bagging & dispatchStitched into 25 kg / 50 kg bags, weighed and loaded for delivery.
